Gyeongsangnamdo 1200, Gayasan-ro, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Gayasan Mountain stretches along the border of Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do in an area of approximately 76 square kilometers. The mountain's peak, Sangwangbong Peak, reaches 1,430 meters above sea level. Gayasan Mountain was designated as Scenic Site No. 5 in 1966 and National Park No. 9 in 1972 due to its breathtaking scenery. Gayasan Mountain is known to offer one of the best scenic views in the country and also as the home of Haeinsa Temple.

Gangju Pond (강주연못)

Gyeongsangnamdo Yeha-ri, Jeongchon-myeon, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Gangju Pond is the orgin of the current Jinjuseong Fortress. It is unknown when the pond was first built, but the trees that grow around the pond are 500-600 years old, attesting to its history. During summer, the pond is filled with lotus blossoms, and it is a popular picnic location for students. The area around the pond was designated as an ecolocial park in 2004, creating a space for locals to relax and learn about the environment.

Gangguan Port (강구안)

Gyeongsangnamdo Jungang-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Gangguan Port is located in Tongyeong close to the sea, and regarded to be more full of energy compared to other ports due to the sea waves seen close by. The port is occupied by moored fishing boats and rows of restaurants that sell Chungmu-style gimbap.

Gamaksan Wind Farm (감악산 풍력발전단지)

Gyeongsangnamdo San 57 Deoksan-ri, Sinwon-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Gamaksan Wind Farm is a wind power complex located near the summit of Gamaksan Mountain in Geochang. The site, once a barren land, has been transformed into a flower garden with the planting of flowers such as Mother Chrysanthemum, Aster, Siberian Chrysanthemum, and Sliver Grass. It offers a panoramic view of Geochang-eup and Hapcheonho Lake. There are photo zones scattered throughout, providing excellent opportunities for photography. One of the main events is the Flower & Star Festival held in October. Visitors can enjoy vibrant purple asters and participate in programs like forest ecology experience and aromatherapy.

Gajisan Provincial Park (Miryang Section) (가지산도립공원(밀양))

Gyeongsangnamdo Sannae-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Situated 1,240 meters above sea level, Gajisan Mountain is famous for its beautiful stones and rocky peaks. There are a variety of things to see on the mountain besides the beautiful stones. In fall, the pampas grass provides a spectacular sight as the whole mountain peak is covered in autumn colors. The mountain attracts many hikers wanting to see oddly-shaped rocks like the famous Ssalbawi Rock.

Gaepyeong Hanok Village (개평한옥마을)

Gyeongsangnamdo 59 Gaepyeong-gil, Jigok-myeon, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Gaepyeong Hanok Village is where more than 60 large and small hanok (traditional Korean house) buildings with over 100 years of history are located within a traditional atmosphere. The village was named Gaepyeong using the letter gae (meaning “stuck between") as it is situated between Deokgaecheon Stream and Silgaecheon Stream. Visitors can observe the typical form of Gyeongsang region's yangban (aristocrat) house in this village, known as the hometown of scholars and writers since ancient times. The historical House of Ildu, which stands out first when entering Jigok-myeon where Gaepyeong Hanok Village is located, was also used as a filming location for dramas such as "Mr. Sunshine (2018)" and "Toji, the Land (2004)." The scenery of the stone walls, in harmony with the antique hanok, offers a calming sensation. In addition, visitors can participate in various experience programs, such as pressed flower craft, dasik (tea confectionery) making, and walking on trails held throughout the village, as well as gochujang (red chili paste) making at Roh's Old House of Gaepyeong-ri, which has the oldest anchae (women’s quarters) in the village.

Gacheon Daraengi Village (가천 다랭이마을)

Gyeongsangnamdo 21 Nammyeon-ro 679beon-gil, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Daraengi Village in Namhae is famous for terraced rice paddies on a steep hill on the outskirts of Seolheulsan Mountain. The picturesque rice paddies make up 108 steps (consisting of stones and soil) and are great for taking photographs. Located in the south, the village is balmy in winter, and spring greens such as mugwort and spinach sprout before any other place in Korea. Environment-friendly agriculture flourishes because the sea breeze prevents insect pests. This land of friendly people and fertile soil is home to Daraengi Rice Paddy Festival every spring. The festival offers a slew of interesting programs allowing visitors to experience traditional farming and learn the culture and customs of Daraengi Village.

Gyeongsangnamdo Gain-ri, Changseonyeon, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsanam-do Gain-ri village in Changseon-myeon, Namhae, Gyeongnam Province, has a primitive fossil site that includes 34 footprints of pterosaurs, or flying dinosaurs. The footprints are deeply imprinted in the wide sheets of rocks arrayed along Dongdaeman Beach. Researchers believe that these enormous footprints belong to a species of huge pterosaur, and visitors can see about 60 smaller footprints that are believed to belong to early humans. The dinosaur footprints and other cretaceous fossils are located along the cape by the shore, so you must time your visit well to see them. According to paleontologists, the footprints are the evidence of three specimens of herbivorous: sauropoda, which walked on two 60 centimeter-long feet; two specimens of ornithopoda, which were also herbivores, that had three toes on each foot; and one specimen of another ornithopod species, a carnivore that had sharp claws and walked on two feet. The layout of the footprints alludes to a situation where the herbivores were walking in a group followed by a carnivore preparing for an attack!

It is the home of a vast amount of footprints from a variety of ancient species, as well as the largest Mesozoic bird footprint found to date. The formations from many different prehistoric eras make it a precious site for academic research on the life patterns of dinosaurs, the ancient natural environment and formations, the distribution of sea and land, and the evolution of bird species. It is also a great tourist attraction that offers magnificent scenery, including a coastline dotted with beautiful Hallyeosudo islets, unique rock formations and cliffs, and sea caves.

Dumo Village (두모마을)

The stream flowing through the village has high-quality water and is home to sweetfish, mitten crab, and freshwater eel. Visitors to the village can enjoy both farming and marine experiences, making it a popular destination for families. The villagers welcome visitors warmheartedly, creating an atmosphere of returning home after a long time away. The village name comes from the way it seems to hug the ocean, like a large hangari (clay pot).

In October 2007, the Tongyeong Agenda 21 association invited people throughout the nation to paint murals on the walls of Dongpirang-gil Street. Thanks to the participants' paintings, this hillside village on the sea became a new place, revitalized by art. The view overlooking the sea and Gangguan Port is fantastic as well.

Visitors can enjoy water sports like yachting, water skiing, banana boat rides, and jet skiing. Cruises offer exploration of the Dadohae, the sea around Tongyeong, along with night sea tours. The craft museum displays and sells traditional Tongyeong crafts, such as inlaid mother-of-pearl lacquerware, and offers hands-on experiences in creating these crafts.

Dojangpo Fishing Village (도장포어촌체험마을)

Gyeongsangnamdo 24-1, Dojangpo 2-gil, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Dojangpo Fishing Village, located near Sinseondae Cliff and Windy Hill, is a popular attraction especially loved by couples for the beautiful scenery. Sinseondae Cliff is formed of oddly shaped rocks that run in a horizontal line, making it look as if the rocks are holding up the ocean. Other nearby attractions include Yeocha Beach, a filming location of “The Ginkgo Bed (1996);" and Windy Hill, a popular attraction due to its exotic and picturesque green hill.

Deokpo Beach (덕포해수욕장)

The 450 meter-long and 40 meter-wide beach offers fine sand, clear waters, a gentle slope and old sea pine trees along the coast. Nearby attractions include the Okpo Great Victory Commemorative Park, which was built in 1996 to commemorate the victory of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, and the Okpo Shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering with a giant shipyard crane.
