Munui Cultural Properties Site (문의문화재단지)
Chungcheongbukdo 721, Daecheonghoban-ro, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Munui Cultural Properties Site, overlooking the Daecheongho Lake, attracts many visitors. Thesite was created to preserve and promote the local traditional culture of Cheongwon (Chungcheongbuk-do); it is a great place to learn about local history, culture, and arts. The spacious complex (132,232m²) is a hometoten traditional houses (Munsangwan, aristocrat houses, a museum, and a tavern), showing a form of a traditional village. It is also full of dolmen stones (symbolizing abundant procreation), Jangseung (totem poles at the entrance of villages or temples), and Yeonjabanga (millstones worked by horses or oxen), providing visitors with opportunities to learn about traditional culture and life. Witha theme of roof tiles, a relics gallery in the complex boasts over 774 local items, categorized byhistorical period (e.g. the Silla Period, Baekje Period, etc.). Munsan-ri Stone Bridge, believed to have been built during the Goryeo Period, was restored in front of the gallery. The complex also offers a wide array of amenities including mineral spring sites, playgrounds, and Munui Movie Village (a drive-in movie theatert). Nearby notable attractions include artificial falls, Yangseongsan Mountain, Jakdusan Mountain, Daecheongho Lake, Nosan Pine Forest, Donghwasa Temple, and Bugang Mineral Springs.

Mungwang Reservoir (문광저수지)
Chungcheongbukdo 16 Yanggok-ri, Mungwang-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Encircled by a 2-kilometer stretch of roads lined with ginkgo trees, this reservoir lies at the heart of Yanggok-ri, a quintessential small farming village. Mulhangyegok Valley (물한계곡)
Chungcheongbukdo Sangchon-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do The waters that carved Mulhangyegok Valley in Yeongdong, Chungcheongbuk-do originate in the upper reaches of the Hancheon Village stream. In summer, many tourists visit the valley while the nearby Minjujisan Mountain, Samdobong Peak and Gakhosan Mountain are popular among hikers year-round. The scrub, azaleas and royal azaleas along the ridges display their magnificent beauty throughout the year. There are many waterfalls and small pools along the valley, including Oksopokpo Falls, Uiyonggolpokpo Falls and Eumjuampokpo Falls. The harmonious valley contains Janggun Rock, many thick forests and even swamplands, offering a wide array of spectacular and splendid sights.

Mosan Airfield (모산비행장)
Chungcheongbukdo Goam-dong, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do BTS‘EPILOGUE Young Forever’This is the endless runway where the 7 members of BTS walked side by side. It was built for flight training in the past, but is now being used as a public park. Depending on the season, there is a flower field where sunflowers, verbena, crape myrtle, and pink muhly are in full bloom, so it is perfect for viewing and taking pictures. There are cafes around the runway to add a break to sightseeing.

Midongsan Arboretum (미동산수목원)
Chungcheongbukdo 51, Sumogwon-gil, Miwon-myeon, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Opened on May 4, 2001, Midongsan Arboretum in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do is a provincial arboretum, built to develop and propagate forestry techniques and found ecological education environments. Covering an area of 3,114,049.60㎡ (942,000 pyeong), the arboretum houses almost 873 species of plants and 652,000 plants in 11 exhibition halls including an Oak tree hall, a Maple tree hall, and a genetics hall, which presents plant genetic resources like Jeongipumsong hugyemok (succession of pine tree). In addition to the 11 themed arboretum halls, Midongsan Arboretum also has a forestry educational hall, plant seed bank, research center for wild plants, nature experience camp, and more.

Mansugyegok Valley (만수계곡)
Chungcheongbukdo 136, Mansu-gil, Songnisan-myeon, Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Mansugyegok Valley is a 4 km-long valley fed by the Samgacheon Stream, which originates from Cheonwangbong Peak in Songnisan Mountain and flows into Samga Reservoir. Its name refers to how it has enjoyed tens of thousands of years of age. Its clear water and lush forests make it a popular summer and forest bath destination. The summit of the Songnisan Mountain can be reached along the valley. There’s also a trail that leads to the Beopjusa Temple of Songnisan Mountain.

Jwagusan Recreational Forest (좌구산 자연휴양림)

Joryeongsan Recreational Forest (조령산자연휴양림)
Chungcheongbukdo 1795, Saejae-ro, Yeonpung-myeon, Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Joryeongsan Recreational Forest is located in Joryeongsan Mountain, a part of Sobaeksanmaek Mountain Range. Joryeongsan Mountain is home to groves of old pine and oak trees. Hiking trails weave throughout the forests. Amenities include accommodations, forest park, pavilion, outdoor stage, playground, and remains of a fortress. The water park is open to the public between July and August. The Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Center has educational exhibits on forest ecologies and offers woodcraft experiences.

Jongdaengi Trail (충주호 종댕이길)
Chungcheongbukdo Jongmin-dong, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Simhangsan Mountain, located adjacent to Chungjuho Lake, is affectionately known as Jongdaengi Mountain due to the presence of a shrine. The construction of Chungju Dam in 1985 led to the formation of Chungjuho Lake and the subsequent disappearance of a village. The Jongdaengi Trail, a scenic walking path along Simhangsan Mountain, offers breathtaking views of Chungjuho Lake. Along the trail, visitors can discover an ecological pond and a suspension bridge, enhancing the overall experience.

Jeongbangsa Temple (정방사)
Chungcheongbukdo 165, Oksunbong-ro 12-gil, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Located on a ridge of Sinseonbong Peak (845 meters) nearby Geumsusan Mountain, Jeongbangsa Temple was founded by Buddhist Monk Uisang in the second year (662) of King Munmu’s reign during the Silla dynasty. Jeongbangsa Temple is a branch of Beopjusa Temple located on Songnisan Mountain and is a well known oratory amongst Buddhists. The temple offers fantastic views of Cheongpungho Lake that are said to calm and clear the mind. A unique feature of this temple is the mountain wall making up a portion of the temple roof.

Jecheon Oriental Medicine Expo Park (제천한방엑스포공원)

Jecheon Oksunbong Suspension Bridge (제천 옥순봉 출렁다리)
Chungcheongbukdo 342, Oksunbong-ro, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Near one of Korea's Scenic Spot, Oksunbong Peak, Oksunbong Suspension Bridge provides visitors with a thrill stretching 222 meters long, 1.5 meters wide. The Deck Road and trekking trail made of palm tree mat completes the total length of 944 meters. Visitors can also easily get to Cheongpungho Lake and Oksunbong Peak.

Jecheon Deokjusa Temple (덕주사(제천))
Chungcheongbukdo 87, Mireuksonggye-ro 2-gil, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Deokjusa Temple is a branch temple of Beopjusa Temple, the head temple of the 5th district of the Jogye Order. The temple is believed to have been established in 597 AD by Princess Deokju, the last princess of the Silla Kingdom. According to legend, Princess Deokju stayed at the site with Prince Ma-ui and built the temple, naming it after herself, along with the cave nearby. However, there are no records to confirm or refute these claims. The temple once stood in front of the Rock-carved Standing Buddha of Deokjusa Temple (a Treasure), but was burned down during the Korean War. The present temple building stands about 1.7 kilometers from the original temple site and is the result of reconstruction efforts conducted in the 1970s.
