Geumsan Boseoksa Temple (보석사 (금산))
Chungcheongnamdo 30, Boseoksa 1-gil, Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do Located on the southeastern slope of Jinaksan Mountain (732 meters), about six kilometers away from Geumsan-eup, Boseoksa Temple was founded by the great Buddhist monk Jogu Daesa in 866 (12th year of King Heongang) during the Silla Kingdom. The temple’s name Boseoksa (boseok meaning jewelry) comes from the statue of Buddha in the temple that was cast from gold found in the mountain facing the temple. The temple is comprised of Daeungjeon Hall, Euiseongak Shrine and Sansingak Shrine. Close to the temple grounds are 12 stunning waterfalls. Visitors can also see a 1,100 year-old ginkgo tree or take a pleasant stroll along a 300-meter long fir tree road.

Gapsagyegok Valley (갑사계곡)
Chungcheongnamdo 519 Gapsa-ro, Gyeryong-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do Gapsagyegok Valley is a valley located on the northwest slope of Gyeryongsan Mountain in Gongju-si. With moderate temperatures even in summer, it is suitable as a recreational area, while the autumn foliage adds to its beauty. At the entrance lies Gapsa Temple, a Buddhist temple with various cultural assets, offering insights into Korean Buddhist culture. Within the valley, visitors can enjoy forest walks and view attractions such as the Yongmunpokpo Falls.

Gapsa Temple (갑사)
Chungcheongnamdo 567-3, Gapsa-ro, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do Gapsa Temple is located in the forested foothills of Gyeryongsan Mountain, 19 kilometers from Gongju and a three-hour walk from Donghaksa Temple. The temple is most beautiful during fall when surrounded by crimson foliage. Gapsa Temple was established by monk Adohwasang in 420, during the early Baekje Period. The temple's beauty allowed it to escape destruction many times, but it was ultimately burned down during the Imjin War (1592-1598). The current structures were built in 1604. Nearby attractions include Yongmunpokpo Falls, Sujeongbong Peak, and Cheonjinbotab Pagoda.

Ganggyeong Oknyeobong Park (강경 옥녀봉)
Chungcheongnamdo Bukok-ri, Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do Oknyeobong Peak is one of the eight scenic views of Nonsan and offers a great overview of the Geumgang River as it flows through the Ganggyeong district. Continuing out into the distance, views of Nonsan and Iksan can be seen, bringing to mind a traditional painting of a mountain and river. The scenery is so beautiful that there is a myth of mountain gods coming down to play and bathe during the full moon. The signal-fire tower at the peak was built to receieve signals from the tower on Gwangduwonsan Mountain in Iksan, and passes the message along to Noseong signal-fire tower. The park is also in the area of the nation's earliest Baptist church, making it famous for people on a pilgrimage to sacred places.

Ganggyeong Bugok Methodist Church (구 강경성결교회 예배당)
Chungcheongnamdo 40-1, Gyebaek-ro 219beon-gil, Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do The early form of church architecture was mostly hanok (Korean traditional houses) style as it was the time when missionary activities were just settling. As most leaders of the congregation were Westerners, they felt uncomfortable in these Korean-style buildings and started building Western-style churches. As a result, most of the Korean-style churches either disappeared or underwent reconstruction. However, Ganggyeong Bugok Methodist Church has keptits Korean-style building to this day, making it a very unique and valuable piece of architecture. This building is regarded as an important material for studying the technological transition from the traditional to the modern.

Gangdanggolgyegok Valley (강당골계곡)
Chungcheongnamdo 510, Gangdang-ri, Songak-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do Gangdanggolgyegok Valley is located at the northern foot of Gwangdeoksan Mountain at the boundary between Asan and Cheonan, through which the Oeamcheon Stream flows. The valley has clear water and a lush forest, making it a great place for forest bathing and summertime swimming. Gwangdeoksan Mountain also has excellent hiking trails. The village has campgrounds and pensions for accommodations, along with several restaurants.

Gakwonsa Temple (각원사)
Chungcheongnamdo 245 Gagwonsa-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do Gakwonsa Temple, nestled midway up Taejosan Mountain in Cheonan, stands as a beacon of hope for the peaceful reunification of Korea. The temple's most renowned feature is the immense bronze statue of the seated Amitabha Buddha, which measures 15 meters in x_height, 30 meters in circumference, and weighs 60 tons. Additionally, Gakwonsa Temple is distinguished by its Daeungjeon Hall, the largest Dharma Hall in Korea. The temple's Gaesan Memorial Hall houses a collection of artifacts associated with the temple.

Gaehwa Art Park (개화예술공원)
Chungcheongnamdo 673-47, Seongjusan-ro, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do Situated in Boryeong, the spacious Gaehwa Art Park is a theme art park that houses a variety of parks and attractions: to name a few, Mosan Fine Arts Museum, Birim Park, Yukpilsi Park, Hwain Music Hall, and Herb Land. The orange roof of Mosan Fine Arts Museum was made by using local stones. At Yukpilsi Park, visitors can see over 1,500 sculptures, statues and monuments as well as large stones inscribed with famous Korean poems. At Herb Land, visitors can enjoy dining. Throughout the park, visitors can see seven different ponds, waterfalls, and walking trails as well as animals such as deer, rabbits, and ducks roaming freely.

Eco Healing Red Clay Trail (에코힐링 황톳길)

E-An Land (이안숲속)
Chungcheongnamdo 25, Sumogwon-gil, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do E-An Land Forest was established in 1999 when 1,836 arbor species and 1,418 herb species were planted on a land area of 1,118 hectares. The forest features a tropical garden and various other exhibition gardens, as well as thematic spaces like the Haneul Maru. The forest was finally completed in 2006. Inside the arboretum, there are various things to see such as the herb village, parakeet exhibitions, a pine tree garden, and man-made cave. There is also a mini golf course and an outdoor swimming pool. Visitors can also use the onsite pensions and the auto camping site for accommodation, making the E-An Land Forest a great place for family and group visitors.

Chungcheongnamdo Cheonnae-ri, Jewon-myeon, Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do The Dragon Statue and Tiger Statue in Cheonnae-ri, Geumsan are located about 100 meters apart next to a stream. The two stone statues show intricate carvings of a dragon complete with horns and antlers, and a tiger standing up on his hind legs respectively. The statues are believed to have been made during the late Goryeo period.
