Hyewon's House (혜원의 집 (영화 리틀포레스트 촬영지))
Daegu 58-1 Miseong 5-gil, Ubo-myeon, Gunwi-gun, Daegu Hyewon's House served as the house of Hyewon (played by Kim Tae-ri), the main character of the film "Little Forest (2018)." The site has quickly become a main attraction of Gunwi-gun. Parking at the entrance to the village, visitors can enjoy the small town ambiance as they walk to the house. Props from the film are located throughout the house, and visitors can enjoy riding on the bicycle that Hyewon rode.

Hwawon Park (화원동산)
Daegu 40-14 , Samunjin-ro 1-gil, Dalseong-gun, Daegu Hwawon Park, a vast park beside the Nakdonggang River, is steeped in history. The river, once bustling with Samunjin Quay, where ships laden with goods frequented, now features Samunjin Ferries. Visitors can access Dalseong Marsh Ecological Park via a floating walkway across the river. Gyeongsanggamnyeong Park (경상감영공원)
Daegu 99, Gyeongsanggamyeong-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu Located in central Daegu, Gyeongsanggamyeong Park was built during the 34th year of King Seonjo of the Joseon Dynasty (1601) and was the original location of Gyeongsanggamyeong (1910), the office of the Gyeongsangbuk-do governor. In 1965 the provincial office was moved to another location and the park opened its doors to the public under the name of Central Park. The park was renamed again in 1997 and has been known as Gyeongsanggamyeong Park ever since. Many cultural and historical heritages are located in the park including the Seonhwa-dang building where the governor worked (Daegu Tangible Cultural Property No.1); the Jungcheong-gak building that was one of the governor’s residences (Daegu Tangible Cultural Property No.2); and Seonjeong-bi gravestone where governor’s achievements are engraved. Seonhwa-dang building in particular has historical significance since it is one of the few remaining government buildings. The park is well loved by citizens for its green forest, beautiful flowers, well-developed grass plaza, scenic fountain area, and its comfortable walking paths.

February 28th Jungang Memorial Park (2.28기념중앙공원)
Daegu 80, Dongseong-ro 2-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu This park was created in 2003 to commemorate the February 28 Student Democratic Uprising in 1960 on the site of Jungang Elementary School. It is a place that contains the pain of Daegu's history from the February 28 Uprising to the March 15 Uprising and the April 19 Revolution, but now it has become a peaceful and pleasant resting place in the city center. Thanks to the cool fountain and the shade created by the beautiful trees, it is established as a park that anyone can visit comfortably, regardless of age or gender. Furthermore, there are various amenities such as a walking trail, stream, and central fountain plaza, as well as many famous restaurants nearby, serving as a convenient public area to the citizens of Daegu throughout the year.

E-World (이월드)
Daegu 200 Duryugongwon-ro, Dalseo-gu, Daegu In October 1987, E-World began construction on a tower and theme park, completed the master plan for the construction in 1993, and opened it in March 1995. It is a European-style city park decorated with waterfalls, fountains, lights, and flowers, with rides, exhibitions, art spaces, and restaurants that all ages can enjoy. There are theme plazas to provide novelty and enjoyment for visitors at E-World. Representative plazas include the entrance plaza near the ticket office, the central plaza located in Fantasy World, Children's Square with a playground for kids, and Youngtown Square for young people.

Dongsan Cheongna Hill (동산청라언덕)
Daegu 2029 Dalgubeol-daero, Jung-gu, Daegu Cheongna Hill is the place where Christian missionaries resided during the early 20 century, planting many ivies along the site. It is also called Dongsan Cheongna Hill for being on the eastern side of Daegu's center. There are many attractions in this beautiful garden including Chamness’ House, Switzer’s House, Blair’s House, 90 stairs, Daegu 3.1 Independence Movement Road, Daegu's first western apple tree, a memorial stone inscribed with the song "Thinking of My Friend” , and the cemetery of the missionaries and their family. Cheongna Hill is also the starting point of Daegu's Street Tour Course 2 as well as a popular drama film location.

Dodongseowon Confucian Academy [UNESCO World Heritage] (도동서원…
Daegu 726, Gujiseo-ro, Dalseong-gun, Daegu Dodongseowon Confucian Academy was first established by Confucian scholars in 1568 at the eastern base of Biseulsan Mountain, but was burnt down during the Imjin War (1592-1598). In 1605, the school was reconstructed on its current site and was renamed Borodongseowon. In 1607, the name was changed to Dongdoseowon. "Dongdo" means that the teachings ("do") of Confucianism come from the East (dong in Korean). Dodongseowon is one of the 47 major Confucian academies that was not affected by Heungseon Daewongun's order to eliminate Confucian academies.

Dalseong Marsh (대구 달성습지)

Daemyeong Reservoir (대명유수지)
Daegu 816 Daecheon-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu Daemyeong Reservoir, located adjacent to Dalseong Marsh, is at the convergence point of the Nakdonggang River, Geumhogang River, Daemyeongcheon Stream, and Jincheon Stream. This area is a rich ecological reserve, home to a diverse range of wildlife including the narrow-mouthed toad, leopard cat, weasel, common kestrel, and water deer, along with various wild plants. Visitors to the area can explore narrow-mouthed toad habitats, observation decks, ecological exploration trails, and photo zones. There's also a narrow-mouthed toad ecological learning center for educational experiences. The surrounding landscape, with its stretches of silver grass and reeds along the walking decks, offers a picturesque setting, particularly attractive for autumn photography.

Daegyeonsa Temple (대견사)
Daegu 232 Hyuyangnim-gil, Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, Daegu Daegyeonsa Temple, with its rich history spanning a thousand years, is situated atop Biseul Mountain, over 1,000 meters above sea level. It is famed for housing the enshrined Buddha's sarira. Encircled by unusual rock formations, the temple appears almost sky-touching. The view from its three-story stone pagoda, perched on the edge of a cliff, is nothing short of breathtaking. Particularly in spring, when the azalea colonies of Biseulsan Mountain are in full bloom, the scenery transforms into something truly magical. Conveniently, the temple can be easily reached by electric vehicle from the Biseulsan Recreational Forest.

Daegu Jeil Church (대구제일교회)
Daegu 50, Gukchaebosang-ro 102-gil, Jung-gu, Daegu Daegu Jeil Church is the oldest Protestant Church in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. Initially established in 1898 over four tile-roofed houses, Daegu Jeil Church was rebuilt in 1933 with traditional and Western architectural designs. Subsequently, Deacon Lee Ju-Yeol dedicated a 33m bell tower in 1937, whlie the church underwent an interior renovation in 1969, and an expansion in 1981. In conjuction with its physical development, which was at the forefront of the nation's architectural modernization, the church contributed largely to modernization and expansion of Christianity in the region as well as in Korea. In addition, by introducing modern medicine and education to the citizens of Daegu, the founders of Daegu Jeil Church stimulated social development in the region.
