Sejong Cheongansa Temple (청안사(세종))

Sejong 128-23, Ganeusil-gil, Jeonui-myeon, Sejong-si Sitting at the foot of a mountain near Ganeusil Village, Cheongansa Temple belongs to the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. It had been believed to have been built in 1900, but the roof tile and white porcelain pieces from the mid-Joseon dynasty period found near the temple suggested that it might have been built even earlier. Cheongsansa had also been thought to be a branch of Biamsa Temple, which is presumably built in the 7th century during the late Baekje kingdom period.

It shows its own unique appeal different from that of other well-known forests on Jeju Island such as Bijarim Forest and Saryeonisup Forest Trail. It consists of diverse elements from the rare cypress forest and vast grassland to stone walls and log cabins, and also features photo spots that contain sentiments and vibes unique to Jeju Island. Here, visitors can enjoy the beautiful four seasons of nature through canola blossoms and pink muhly. It goes beyond a simple arboretum as you can look around the area, reflect upon yourself, and engage in deep thinking -- a true garden for contemplation. Experts from different fields, such as architects Hyo-sang Seung, Alvaro Joaquim de Melo Siza Vieira, and Wook Choi, as well as landscape architect Young-sun Jung and calligrapher Wei Liang joined together to create this arboretum. Saseongam Hermitage (Gurye) (사성암(구례))

Jeollanamdo 303 Saseongam-gil, Muncheok-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do Saseongam Hermitage is a hermitage located at the peak of Osan in Gurye (elevation 531m). It is estimated to have been built during the Baekje period (B.C. 18-A.D. 660). Many people visit it to see the sanctuary where the 53 statues of the Buddhist Avatamsaka Sutra are enshrined. The view of the Seomjingang River and the village from the temple is magnificent, and the refreshing breeze feels as if it penetrates through one's body, leading to its designation as a scenic spot in August 2014.

Sarabong Park (사라봉공원)

Jejudo 74, Sarabongdong-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do Sarabong Park is located on a 143 meter-high hill just east of Dongmun Rotary in Jeju. The park is best known for its spectacular sunset views, which is often regarded as a perfect complement to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak's view of the sunrise. Sarabong Park offers a spectacular view of the expansive blue waters to the north and Hallasan Mountain to the south, making it popular among locals and tourists alike. Visitors traveling by bus will see Mochungsa Temple on the way to the park. Byeoldobong Peak lying to the east features a paragliding runway. At the foot of Sarabong is Udang Library.
