Gyeonggido 406-9 Yuwonji-ro, Jangheung-myeon, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do Shinheung Leisure Town is a leisure complex that operates Water World in the summer and Snow World in the winter. Water World, a summer-only leisure facility, is renowned for its clean water and features 400 cabana seatings. Snow World, available only in winter, offers a variety of activities including snow sledge riding, ice sledge riding, smelt-catching activities, and more.

Seoulland (서울랜드)

Gyeonggido 181, Gwangmyeong-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Seoulland was the first theme park in Korea, built at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain. With more that 50 rides and other seasonal attractions,Seoulland offers thrill and excitement for people of all ages. Luna Land and Jurassic Land are not to be missed. The pride of Seoulland is its wide selection of seasonal festivals and the unique Laser Show held during the evening. Seoulland is a popular destination as it is easily accessible from downtown Seoul and has many nearby attractions, being part of the larger Seoul Grand Park complex. Seoul Grand Park holds various festivals for each season of the year. The Tulip Festival is held from April to May; the Starlight Rose Festival from July to August; the Chrysanthemum Festival from September to October; and the Snow Light Festival from December to February.

Seoul Grand Park (서울대공원)

Gyeonggido 102, Daegongwongwangjang-ro, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Seoul Grand Park is a family-friendly amusement park consisting of various themed facilities that promote the growth and preservation of diverse animals and plants.[Seoul Zoo]Seoul Zoo aims to provide an ideal environment for animals to grow and live as well as exhibit, preserve, and research rare animals and educate the public. As a result of the zoo's hard work and efforts, it is the only zoo in Korea to be certified as a member of both ISIS and IUDZG-WZO. [Botanical Garden]Seoul Grand Park's Botanical Garden was opened in 1985 amidst the lush forest situated at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain. The garden consists of a greenhouse, exhibition facilities, and themed gardens that boast a collection of over 41,000 plants from 1,262 different species. The greenhouse preserves and exhibits tropical and subtropical plants that are not found in Korea. Moreover, the Botanical Garden offers various activities and experience programs related to plants and forests.[Theme Garden]The Theme Garden is one of the most representative facilities of Seoul Grand Park. The Theme Garden consists of a Rose Garden and Children's Zoo. Seasonal plants and flowers as well as diverse themed garden programs are offered. [Healing Place]The Healing Place is a forest formed at the foothills of Cheonggyesan Mountain that surrounds the border of Seoul Grand Park. Main facilities consist of Healing Forest Walkway; Water, Wind & Sunshine Healing Zone; Barefoot Road; Aroma Garden; and Forest Plaza. [Healing Forest Walkway]Healing Forest Walkway is a walking path lined by diverse trees that form a lush forest serving as a habitat for small animals like squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, and more. The walking path is approximately 8 kilometers long and divided into four sections. The shortest course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, while the full course requires 3 hours. [Campsite]The campsite within the Seoul Grand Park is the perfect place to camp out, hold picnics and enjoy recreational activities with friends and families. The main facilities consist of a campsite, volleyball court, basketball court, snack bar, and shower facilities. The campsite is open from March to November, except in the case of harsh weather conditions.

Seolmaejae Recreational Forest (설매재자연휴양림)

Gyeonggido 510, Yongcheon-ro, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Seolmaejae Recreational Forest is located around Seolmaejae Pass, named for the apricot blossoms ('mae') that would bloom in the snow ('seol')-filled pass ('jae'). The forest is only an hour's drive out of Seoul, making it easily accessible for people looking to escape the city. The forest offers sections of pine trees, maple trees, royal azalea, and more beautiful flora, all visible along the various hiking paths. The park also connects with Yumyeongsan and Yongmunsan Mountains, and is close to Yongcheongyegok and Yumyeongsan Valleys.

Seolbongsan Mountain (설봉산)

Gyeonggido San66-2, Gwango-dong, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Seolbongsan Mountain (설봉산, 394 m) dominates the western portion of Icheon City. It has also been called Bugaksan Mountain and Muhaksan Mountain since the mountain resembles a crane with its wings spread open. Although the mountain is not rugged and maintains a well kept walking trail, it has many intriguing rock formations. There are as many as eight natural springs from which clear water gushes, and there are also Buddhist temples and relics scattered across the mountain. There are other attractions to see and enjoy as well, such as Seolbong Park, which was established at the opening of the World Ceramic Exhibition, as well as the municipal museum.

Seolbong Park (설봉공원)

Gyeonggido 128, Gyeongchung-daero 2709beon-gil, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Nestled at the foot of Seolbongsan Mountain in Icheon, Seolbong Park is the venue for the Gyeonggi International Ceramic Biennale, Icheon Ceramic Festival, and Icheon Rice Cultural Festival. Outside of festival periods, the park also serves as a rest area for locals, with a wide lake in the center, walking paths, and gardens. Cerapia, a ceramic themed park located within Seolbong Park, offers hands-on programs for visitors to experience ceremics.

Seolbong Oncheon Land (이천설봉온천랜드)

Gyeonggido 67-16 Aeryeonjeong-ro, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Seolbong Oncheon Land is housed in a four-story building, featuring public baths, a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), and private baths for family use. On the first floor, you'll find the women's bath. The second floor is dedicated to the jjimjilbang and features various amenities, including restaurants. The men's bath is located on the third floor. The fourth floor houses private baths and a mini pool with a slide. The pool, which is outdoor, is only open during the summer season. The private baths, which can accommodate either two or four persons, are extremely popular, leading to high demand and competition for reservations, especially on weekends.

Seoksangyegok Valley (석산계곡)

Gyeonggido Seoksan-ri, Danwol-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Seoksangyegok Valley, located in Sorisan Mountain, is also known as Sorisangyegok Valley. The area is known for its crystal-clear water, where marsh snails can be caught, and its pure, unpolluted environment is evident by the countless fireflies visible in summer. The valley is quite lengthy and abundant in water, making it an ideal summer getaway spot. There are numerous resting areas near the valley, adding to its appeal for visitors.

Seohuri Forest (서후리숲)

Gyeonggido 200 Geobukbawi 1-gil, Seojong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Seohuri Forest opened in 2014 with beautiful nature. The forest is comprised of a variety of tree species in different clusters, including pine nut, maple, metasequia, ginkgo, birch, and more. The forest features two walking paths, each taking around 30 minutes to complete.

Seoho Kkotmoe Park (서호꽃뫼공원)

Gyeonggido 100 Suseong-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do Seoho Kkotmoe Park, located near Hwaseo Station, is an urban garden dedicated to preserving biodiversity and maintaining healthy ecosystems. The park features a four seasons garden, divided into 11 sections, as well as a well-maintained walking trail around the park. Additionally, there are a grass square, a forest playground, and various sports facilities, making it a beloved spot for local residents.

Seohaerang Jebu Marine Cable Car (서해랑 제부도 해상케이블카)

Gyeonggido 1-10 Jeongokhang-ro, Seosin-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do There is a new landmark where people mingle with nature. Seohaerang Jebu Marine Cable Car is the longest in Korea, at 2.12 kilometers above the sea around Jebudo Island, and connected to Jeongok Port, where one can enjoy the beautiful west coast scenery. The cable car has a modern appearance and function that reflect the unique characteristics and beauty of Jebudo Island, making it a popular tourist spot on the West Coast and the metropolitan area. With the Seohaerang Jebu Marine Cable Car, one can enjoy both the mudflats and the sea at the same time, and sunset is the best time to enjoy it.

Semiwon (세미원)

Gyeonggido 93, Yangsu-ro, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Semiwon is a botanical garden solely focused on lotus flowers. The garden houses the world’s only museum dedicated to showcasing lotus flowers in daily living, cooking, and writing. The 180,000 square-meter park consists of ponds through which water is filtered and purified before flowing back into the Hangang River. The park is most beautiful in summer when the lotus blossoms are in full bloom but is also decorated with seasonal flowers throughout the year. Additional facilities at Semiwon include the Environment Learning Center, Experience Center, and exhibition areas.

Saruru Farm (사르르목장)

Gyeonggido 130 Sanjeonghosu-ro, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Saruru Farm is a café known for its bright and neat atmosphere, with large windows providing views of rice fields and farms. The café's signature menu items include homemade soft ice cream made from Pocheon ranch's fresh milk and homemade kaymak. They also offer unique ice cream topped with Korean-style toppings like konggomul (roasted soybean powder).

Sangseung Observation Post (First Tunnel) (상승전망대(제1땅굴))

Gyeonggido Baeknyeong-ri, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do Sangseung Observation Post is a popular security tourism destination, providing a unique vantage point to observe enemy activities near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Due to its location within the DMZ, the actual First Tunnel is inaccessible; however, a full-size model is available at the nearby Sangseung Observation Post. Visitors are required to apply seven days in advance and present identification at the post for access.

Sangdong Lake Park (상동호수공원)

Gyeonggido 15, Jomaru-ro 85beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Sangdong Lake Park is the largest park in Bucheon. A 2.5-kilometer promenade runs along a man-made lake, providing a refreshing and cool environment for a light exercise. The park also offers a beautiful sight year round thanks to the seasonal flowers that decorate the area. Some of the park's main facilities include a fountain, park square, wildflower garden, and sports facilities.

Saneum National Recreational Forest (국립 산음자연휴양림)

Gyeonggido 347, Gobuk-gil, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Saneum National Recreational Forest is located in Danwol-myeon in Yangpyeong. It opened on January 1, 2000 and can accommodate up to 2,000 visitors a day. The park's name "saneum" means "mountain shade," a name given for its geographical location where it is surrounded by other mountains on all sides. The park's lush forest is home to diverse species of wildlife and the valley boasts spectacular views.
