Gyeonggido 1635, Biryong-ro, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do Established upon the signing of a friendship pact between the city of Namyangju and the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongol Cultural Village is a unique place in Korea where visitors can experience the traditional culture of Mongolia.Inside the exhibition hall, about 800 items from Mongolia including traditional clothes, instrument and household goods are on display.

Mirinae Holy Site (미리내 성지)

Gyeonggido 420 Mirinaeseongji-ro, Yangseong-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do Mirinae Holy Site in Anseong is the final resting place of Saint Andreas Kim Daegeon, Korea’s first Catholic saint, along with his mother Ursula, Bishop Ferréol—the third head of the Joseon parish who ordained Priest Kim—and Vincentius Lee Minsik, who buried Saint Kim’s body. The name ‘Mirinae,’ meaning ‘Milky Way’ in Korean, adds a celestial significance to the site. Saint Andreas Kim Daegeon, who was martyred at the age of 26, was buried here 40 days after his execution. Sanctification efforts began in earnest in 1972 and have since resulted in the establishment of a memorial church, a statue of Saint Kim, and a serene garden for reflection.

The club has a traditional five-element therapy room inspired by natural healing principles; a five-sense therapy room; a bubble foot bath; a ceramic ball sauna; a floor-heated sauna; and shower facilities that use mineral water. An outdoor swimming pool opens in summer, and a snow slope is available for sledding in winter. Manseokgeo Park (만석거공원)

Gyeonggido 1087 Jeongjo-ro, Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do Manseokgeo Park centers around Manseokgeo Reservoir, built in 1795 to combat drought by transforming barren land into a water source. The park features a pavilion, tennis courts, a playground, small convenience store, an outdoor concert hall, and an art museum. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom, while summer brings beautiful lotus flowers to the lake. A well-maintained walking trail encircles the reservoir, and at night, the rainbow-colored musical fountain provides a spectacular view.

Manggyeongam Hermitage (망경암)

Gyeonggido 72, Taepyeong-ro 55beon-gil, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do Manggyeongam’s name derives from the hermitage's view of Seoul, and is located in Bokjeong-dong of Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do. Manggyeongam Hermitage is said to be the place where kings of the late Goryeo and early Joseon periods prayed for peace for their subjects. In addition, Prince Pyeongwon, the 7th son of King Sejong, and Grand Prince Jean built an altar at Mangyeongam Hermitage and Chilseongdae Peak and pledged filial piety. The hermitage is more widely known for its connection to the Chilseong faith, in which believers worship Chilseong (the Seven Stars). It is easily recognized by the written records inscribed into the rock wall. Located at the hermitage is the Rock-carved Seated Buddha, an original work of the hermitage that is also designated Gyeonggi-do’s Tangible Cultural Asset No. 102. The Buddha is embossed inside a deep hole in the rock. In the words inscribed near the statue, there is also a legend that says Lee Gu-seung carved Gwaneum Statue near Rock-carved Seated Buddha and built the hermitage in 1897. Next to the hermitage is a pond called “Bokumul,” which means “blessed sugared water.” The neighborhood of Bojeong-dong takes its name from this pond. At the hermitage, Daeungjeon Hall (the main hall), Samseonggak Shrine (shrine for three spirits), and Mireukjeon Hall were all established fairly recently. The hermitage site also includes a huge Mireuk Daebul statue (Great State of Maitreya Buddha) and a five-story stone pagoda.

Gyeonggido 313 Gisan-ro, Gwangtan-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do Majanghosu Suspension Bridge offers more than the bridge itself with amenities like benches, wildflowers, water sports, and a lakeside promenade. It's the perfect place for couples or a family day out. The bridge is surrounded by mountains and a lake, offering a scenic landscape that becomes even more spectacular at sunset. Midway through the bridge, the floor is partially made of bulletproof glass for a thrilling view below one's feet. The bridge has many noteworthy attractions in proximity such as Bogwangsa Temple, Byukchoji Gardens, and Gongneung Tourist Resort.

Majanghosu Lake (마장호수)

Gyeonggido 365 Gisan-ro, Gwangtan-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do Majanghosu Lake is a beautiful location for friends and families to spend time together in nature. The lake features a 3.6-kilometer-long lakeside walking path and a 220-meter-long suspension bridge. Park facilities include a cafe overlooking the lake, forest campground, and canoeing.

Maehyang-ri Peace Eco Park (매향리평화생태공원)

Gyeonggido 24-11 Goonrian-gil, Ujeong-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do In the “Nogari Race for Talk Enthusiasts” episode of Running Man, members can be seen having endless chats with joyous expressions against a backdrop of green fields. This particularly scenic location is Maehyang-ri Peace Eco Park in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province. This park was transformed from the Kooni Shooting Range, which was used as a firing range by the US Air Force for 54 years. It’s now a beloved spot for both Hwaseong residents and tourists. If you wish to take a break from your routine and catch your breath, this is the place to visit.

Ludensia (루덴시아)

Gyeonggido 177 Geumpum 1-ro, Sanbuk-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do Ludensia is a European-style theme park constructed using 1.6 million bricks, among which are vintage bricks directly imported from Europe. The park houses various galleries, studios, and a café. Notable attractions include the Train Gallery, boasting over 1,000 model trains; the Antique Gallery, home to a 700-year-old wooden Jesus statue; the Analog Studio, featuring classic albums such as The Beatles' "Yesterday and Today (1966)"; and the Tram Studio, showcasing miniature trams.

Laveniche Plaza (라베니체광장)

Gyeonggido 810, Taejang-ro, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do Hangang Central Park, which was constructed as a result of the development of Gimpo Hangang New City, boasts a fabulous trail from the Golden Waterway by the waterside path all the way to Laveniche Shopping District. Golden Waterway Laveniche continues along a 2.68-kilometer-long trail and displays a variety of sceneries from the south to the north. Designed after Venice, the city of water, Laveniche features many different shops along the water that runs 1.7 kilometers for a round trip. Various living goods shops, restaurants, and pubs are set up on both sides of the water near the Central Plaza so it is a perfect place to spend time healing after a light stroll and shopping.

Laveniche March Avenue (라베니체 마치에비뉴)

Gyeonggido Janggi-dong, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do Laveniche March Avenue is a shopping avenue established along the artifical Golden Waterway in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do. The area became a popular attraction after appearing in the popular drama series "Tale of the Nine Tailed (2020)" and several other television shows. The waterway sparkles in the sunlight during the day and glistens with the city lights at night, offering a romantic scenery anytime of the day.

Korean Traditional House Association (한국전통가옥협회)

Gyeonggido 16-5, Goyangsicheong-ro, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do Korea Traditional House Association studies traditional houses which embrace the spirit of the ancestors and develop traditional cultural asset by creating miniatures of the houses. Through in-site survey and history of ancestors, the area is reproduced intact down to the structure, materials and architectural method used, creating a lively miniature village.

Korean Folk Village (한국민속촌)

Gyeonggido 90 Minsokchon-ro, Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do Korean Folk Village introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon period to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. It recreated the past through the restoration of houses from the Joseon dynasty. Performances including folk music, martial arts on horseback, traditional wedding ceremony, and other special performances and events are available by season. In particular, "Welcome to Joseon," an event held every May, takes visitors back to the past. In addition, a family-friendly theme park equipped with 15 exciting attractions is also available. Visitors can also try various Korean foods at the market street.

Korea National Arboretum and Forest Museum (Gwangneung Fores…

Gyeonggido 415, Gwangneungsumogwon-ro, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do The Korea National Arboretum (KNA) is situated in Gwangneung Experimental Forest and contains the Forest Museum where all the information on forestry is exhibited. The construction of the arboretum and museum took place on October 25, 1985 and opened on April 5, 1987. In order to preserve the forests, weekends and holiday entrance were restricted, reservations were required 5 days in advance, and no more than 5,000 visitors were accepted per day. As diverse plants are gaining recognition worldwide, the research department formed the Office of Forestry on May 24, 1999. Korea National Arboretum covers an area of 1,157㏊ and contains 15 specialized forests, including Conifer Garden, the Garden of Ornamental Trees, and the Aroma and Touch Garden. The Forest Museum is the largest in Asia, covering 4628 sq.m² with a traditional Korean design, and the interior and exterior are both constructed of wood and stone. The arboretum facilities consist of 5 exhibition halls (Living Forest, Forest and Man, Forestry of the World, Forestry of Korea, Nature of Korea), a Herbarium, a Special Exhibition Room, and an Audio Visual Hall.

Konjiam Resort (곤지암리조트)
