Ononsa Guesthouse (온온사)

Gyeonggido 58 Gwanaksan-gil, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Though Ononsa, which was a guesthouse in Gwacheon, was constructed in the 27th year of King Injo's reign in the Joseon dynasty (1649), the name, "Ononsa," was given to this area during the reign of King Jeongjo. On February 11, 1790 during his royal procession to the tomb of his father, Crown Prince Sado, stayed at an inn in Gwacheon and, as he felt that it "has nice views and provides a comfortable stay," he bestowed upon the place plaques that he wrote himself - "Ononsa" to Seoheon and "Burimheon," which was the old nickname of Gwacheon, to Dongheon. This is how this place began to be called Ononsa.It was designated as a Tangible Cultural Heritage of Gyeonggi-do on June 2, 1980, and it was restored on December 2, 1986 after being torn down.

Namsan Octagonal Pavilion (남산 팔각정)

Seoul 105, Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul Originally known as Unamjeong Pavilion, the pavilion was built in 1959 to commemorate Rhee Syngman. It was demolished by the 4.19 movement in 1960 and was rebuilt on November 11, 1968. This pavilion now sits atop Namsan Mountain, with views covering the entirety of Seoul below. As it is a prime spot to view the first sunrise of the year, the annual sunrise festival takes place every New Year's Day.

It is a traditional hanok village renowned for its history as the birthplace of accomplished scholars, adding to the region's rich scholarly tradition. This meticulously preserved village boasts ancient hanok houses, venerable trees, and historic walls. Beyond its significance as a center for traditional culture, the picturesque village also offers experiential programs, including the opportunity to wear hanbok and engage in traditional games.

Ongmasan Mountain (옥마산)

Chungcheongnamdo 300 Changdong 1-gil, Nampo-myeon, Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do Ongmasan Mountain is located in the southern part of Boryeong with its highest point reaching 601 meters above sea level. Although the mountain encompasses the areas of Myeongcheon-dong and Nampo-myeon, it can easily be identified due to the transmission tower installed at the peak. The mountain's name is said to have derived from the legend of the last king of the Silla period and his horse that was hit with a jade arrow. The mountain has a paragliding center and a pine forest with rest spots. At the northern section of the summit, there is a pavilion that offers an excellent vista and Daeyeongsa Temple, renowned for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. Ongmasan Mountain can be reached by taking the National Roads 21 and 40, and other regional highways as well as expressways. Nearby attractions include Boryeong Mugunghwa Arboretum, Seongjusan Mountain, Seongjusan Recreational Forest, Boryeong Coal Museum, and Gaehwa Herb Land.

Ongjin Baengnyeongdo Dumujin (옹진 백령도 두무진)

Incheon 255-1 Yeonhwa-ri, Baengnyeong-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon Dumujin, known for the most beautiful coastal scenery on Baengnyeongdo Island, is situated in the northwest of the island. Its picturesque coastal cliffs and vibrant rock formations, shaped by years of wave action, have earned it the nickname "Geumgangsan Mountain on the sea." Visitors can enjoy Dumujin from the sea aboard a cruise ship, or explore it on land by taking the Dumujin port road.

Onggi Ceramics is the workshop of Heo Jin-gyu, a master onggi craftsman, and is located in Onggi Village in Ulsan, home to the largest production of onggi in the nation. Visitors can browse the items as well as purchase anything that piques their interest. The workshop also offers a range of exerience programs related to onggi, although advanced reservations are required to participate.

Nammangsan Sculpture Park (남망산 조각공원)

Gyeongsangnamdo 29, Nammanggonwon-gil, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Nammangsan Sculpture Park was established to display the works of 15 famous sculptors from 10 countries who participated in the Tongyeong International Sculpture Symposium. It is also a popular spot for dates because this 30 square kilometer land has beautiful sculptures from which visitors can feel the individual taste of the artists.

Namildae Beach (남일대해수욕장)

Gyeongsangnamdo 55, Namildae-gil, Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Located in Sacheon and home to the huge Elephant Rock that resembles an elephant drinking water, Namildae Beach is a popular vacation spot all year round thanks to its clean water and soft sand. The thick surrounding forests and Jinneol Observation Deck, as well as many fishing spots, add to its popularity. During the summer season, there is a singing competition and film festival. Vacationers can also visit Changseon-Samcheonpo Bridge, the biggest bridge in Asia, and see Hallyeohaesang National Park on a ferry cruise.

Onemount Water Park (원마운트 워터파크)

It is housed in three buildings with two underground floors and nine above-ground floors, for a total surface area of 161,602 square meters. Aiming to be the best playground in the world, Onemount features a shopping mall, snow park, water park, and a members-only luxury sports club, and also organizes various performances, events, and parties throughout the year. Onemount Water Park is a huge urban water park that offers an array of both indoor and outdoor attractions. The water park offers spaces for sun tanning and enjoying the natural sunlight, and also hosts special poolside parties. It has nine water amusement facilities, with recreational facilities including a thrilling slide reaching 40 meters in x_height, a wave pool, a waterplay facility, and a running-water pool. Water also regularly splashes throughout the park, adding an element of excitement.

Chungcheongnamdo 200, Neutigol-gil, Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do Nami Recreational Forest is the perfect place for leisure activities and family outings. The forest boasts a picture-perfect view of thick, green forests of broadleaf trees, crystal clear water, curiously shaped rocks, and waterfalls. The cliffs and rocks of Daedunsan Mountain are visible from the summit of Seonyabong Peak. Near the forest are diverse cultural heritage sites such as Baengnyeong Holy Ground and Yukbaekgoji Victory Tower. Ondal Tourist Area (온달관광지)

Chungcheongbukdo 23, Ondal-ro, Yeongchun-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do Ondal Tourist Area is the site of a battle between Goguryeo and Silla in the 6th Century over the control of the Hangang River. It is home to Ondal Exhibition Hall, the Ondal Open Film Set, Ondalsanseong Fortress, and Ondaldonggul Cave, inspired by the story of Goguryeo general Ondal and Princess Pyeonggang. Many Korean historical shows have been filmed in the Ondal Open Film Set. Ondaldonggul Cave was formed by the dissolution of limestone created during the Paleozoic period.

Nami Island Zip Wire (남이섬 짚와이어)

Gyeonggido 1024, Bukhangangbyeon-ro, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Nami Island Zip Wire is an eco-friendly leisure facility established by Gapyeong County Office in partnership with Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and Nami Island Inc. It is one of the largest zipline facilities in Asia. Riders start from an 80-meter-high tower and zoom down along a wire cable to Jarasum (640 meters) or Nami Island (940 meters).

Omokdae and Imokdae Historic Sites (오목대와 이목대)

Jeollabukdo 55 Girin-daero, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk-do Omokdae Historic Site is located on top of a steep hill and is one of the places where Yi Seong-gye, who later became King Taejo, the first king of the Joseon dynasty, stopped to celebrate his victory on his way home from a war against the Japanese army at Unbong Peak of Hwangsan Mountain. Across the bridge from Omokdae is Imokdae Historic Site, situated at the foot of Seungamsan Mountain. Approximately 80 meters downhill from Imokdae are memorial stones and a building where Mokjo, the great-great-grandfather of King Taejo, once used to live. The engraved letters on the stones are the handwritings of Emperor Gojong. Mokjo moved to Hamgyeongdo as a result of a dispute with the then minister of Jeonju, an incident which King Taejo believed to have laid the foundation for him to shape the Joseon dynasty.
