Chungcheongnamdo Seungeon-ri, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do Kkotji Beach, located in beautiful Anmyeon, features a 5 kilometer stretch of white sand, and attractions like Halbaebawi and Halmaebawi Rocks (Grandpa & Grandma Rocks). Halmaebawi Rock is said to have once been a real woman, Mido, who lived during the Silla period. Her husband was sent on business and never returned. Mido sat by the ocean every day waiting for his return, eventually turning into a stone. Further out to sea, there is a large rock, which naturally earned the nickname of Halbaebawi. Many visitors come to Kkotji Beach all year round to enjoy the beautiful view, and take walks along the beach. The sunset scenery has also become a favorite for photographers.

Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge (꽃게다리)

Chungcheongnamdo Changgi-ri, Anmyeon-eup, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do Inspired by the blue crab, the Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge links Taean's Deureuni Port with Anmyeondo Island's Baeksajang Port. The bridge is decorated with sculptures of blue crab and shrimp,highlighting the region's most significant seafood. It provides spectacular views of the Yellow Sea and sunsets. At night, the bridge is lit up with stunning lights. Nearby, a market offers the opportunity to browse, buy, and taste seafood freshly caught from the Yellow Sea.

King Sejong Statue (세종대왕 동상)

Seoul 175, Sejong-daero, Jongno-gu, Seoul King Sejong Statue can be found at Seoul’s Gwanghawmun Square. The statue commemorates King Sejong the Great (1397-1450, reign 1418-1450), the fourth king of Joseon (1392-1897). He is thought to be the greatest king in Korean history, for he is credited with great developments in science and technology, expansion of Joseon’s territory, and the creation of the Korean script, [Hangeul]. King Sejong’s likeness can be found on the 10,000 won bill as well.

Kim Satgat Historic Site (난고 김삿갓 유적지)

Gangwondo 216-22 Gimsatgat-ro, Gimsatgat-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do Nango Kim Satgat (1807-1863) was a prominent literary figure who traveled extensively across the Korean Peninsula, leaving behind a rich legacy of literary works. His sobriquet “Satgat” originated from his habitual wearing of a “satgat” (a traditional Korean hat) and his preference for introducing himself by this name. The historic site dedicated to him includes several key features: the house where he once lived, his tomb, a literary museum that showcases his life and works, and a sculpture of the poet.

Kim Myeong-gwan's House (정읍 김명관 고택)

Jeollabukdo 72-10 Gongdong-gil, Sanoe-myeon, Jeongeup-si, Jeonbuk-do A typical example of an aristocrat's house, this residence was built in the 8th year of King Jeongjo's reign in the Joseon dynasty by Kim Myeong-gwan, the 6th generation descendent of Kim Dong-su. Kim Myeong-gwan carefully considered the principles of geomancy when choosing the location of the house, with Cheonghasan Mountain to the back and Dongjingang River to the front, and it took ten years to complete the house. Upon entering the main gate, the house reveals a balanced symmetry with the daecheongmaru (wooden floor hall) at the center. Every component of the house was placed and designed to create a balance with the surroundings and efficient movement within the premises. Because the house contains most of its original form and displays a beautiful harmony with the natural surroundings, it is regarded as valuable research material. Although there may be limitations, viewing is generally allowed.

Keumkuwon Sculpture Park (금구원야외조각미술관)

Jeollabukdo 31, Jogakgongwon-gil, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk-do Keumkuwon Sculpture Park was founded in 1966 by Kim O-seong, and was the first park of its kind in Korea. The park was registered as Private Museum No. 277 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2003. Many of the roughly 100 sculptures are realistic in style and are related to one another, creating a feeling of watching a play unfold before one's eyes. Main pieces include "Farmer’s Hands," "Thoughts about the Limited and the Unlimited," and "The Sky in the West." The sculptures are made of marble or granite and vary in size, with some measuring 450 centimeters. Indigenous trees and bushes of the Byeonsanbando Peninsula can be found throughout the park, giving visitors a chance to enjoy both the sculptures and the backcountry charm. The park also features the Keumkuwon Astronomical Observatory, opened in 1991. Visitors can combine their trip to the park with a visit to nearby tourist sites like Gyeokpohang Harbor, Chaeseokgang Cliff, Suseongdang Shrine, and Jeokbyeokgang Cliff.

Kansong House (간송옛집)

Seoul 149-18 Sirubong-ro, Dobong-gu, Seoul The 100-year-old traditional hanok Kansong House sits by the burial mound of Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil (1906-1962), who played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritages of Korea during the Japanese colonial period. This house was orginally built by Kansong's adoptive father Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) to us as a storage facilities for harvested agriculture from the northern Gyeonggi-do and Hwanghae. After his father's death, Kansong used the house as a ritual house for his father and often stayed here. Some damages were done to the house during the Korean War, and partial repair was made after his death.

Juwangsan National Park (주왕산국립공원)

Gyeongsangbukdo 169-7, Gongwon-gil, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Juwangsan Mountain (alt. 720.6 m) is located in the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, the backbone of the Korean peninsula. The mountain features deep valleys and many sheer rock cliffs to make it the third-largest rocky mountain in the country. Juwangsan Mountain was recognized as a tourist attraction on May 30, 1972, and became the 12th national park a few years later on March 30, 1976. The park is relatively small, filling in an area of just 105.582 ㎢ but it is great for a leisure walk with walking trails along the valleys up to waterfalls.Juwangsan Mountain was called Seokbyeongsan Mountain during the Silla dynasty due to the many stone peaks jutting out but has been called Juwangsan Mountain since the Unified Silla period. In addition to these tall rocky peaks, Juwangsan National Park also includes four waterfalls, caves, Daejeonsa Temple, and other attractions for a comprehensive tourist site.
